Jekaterina Volossatõhh
Midwife, Level 6
My older daughter says: “You don’t need to search for yourself or your life’s purpose, you need to create it.” This is what I’ve dedicated my life to. Since graduating from middle school, I knew I wanted to become a midwife. Thus, enrolling in Tallinn Health Care College was the next logical step. I graduated in 2007 and began working at Fertilitas private hospital. Now, I have joined Tallinn Specialist Medical Center, where I counsel women during pregnancy. Working with pregnant women and seeing their happiness often makes it hard to imagine myself in any other field. It’s a true miracle – one person comes to you, but nine months later, two leave.
